Placencia Resort - Maya Beach

Limited menu. Food quality needs improvement.

The hotel's location was stunning, really close to the bar/ restaurant over the ocean and the very near beach. The staff were incredibly attentive, overall. We truly enjoyed rooms with full kitchen.

It has a swim-up bar, that serves tasty drinks.

Enjoyed the fine views while unwinding by the pool. The breakfast was especially good, with tasty fried jacks that kick-started each day.

Our room was outdated, with issues like a broken toilet seat and a shower that malfunctioned. Service delays at the restaurant detracted from our dining experience.

The large pool offered fine views, complementing the beautifully maintained grounds. I appreciated the spacious room and the wonderful culinary experiences. While the distance from the village posed a minor challenge, it allowed for a tranquil atmosphere.

I loved the spa for pampering, the comfy master suite, and the fine pool. The excursions were also fantastic! The shuttle service made exploring easy.

The pool was fine , with a large deck area perfect for lounging under the sun ☀️. The location to reception was super convenient.

A Relaxing Getaway with Room for Improvement

The pool stands out for its beauty. Taxis to the village were easy to catch, though a bit pricey. Consider dining in Placencia instead, where prices are much more reasonable. Service could use more attention to details, but overall, a pleasant experience.

Loved the spacious Queen Studio with a private bathroom and telephone. The spa facilities included massage services, body treatments, and an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers. The pool was fine and the beautiful grounds made it super relaxing. Definitely worth the time to chill and unwind after adventures.

The Queen Studio was super spacious, which I loved! The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was nice too. Had a great view from my room. The only downside was some old furniture that could use an update. It was chill.

The resort features beautiful grounds that are well-maintained with a large pool offering fine views. It includes a variety of shared equipment like bikes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards for guest use.

Noise from neighboring rooms can disrupt peace, as soundproofing leaves a lot to be desired. The restaurant's limited menu and high prices, given the lack of nearby alternatives, may leave some feeling restricted.

Loved the spacious Queen Studio, and the pool's swim-up bar was a total highlight! The free paddle boarding was a fun bonus.

Just an appropriate option for a break on long journey in Maya Beach with great value for money. The lava flow drink was the best I had in Belize! Be sure to book a golf cart in advance so you don't miss out.
